In exercise of powers
conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign
Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of the Handbook of procedures (Vol.I),
the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following addition/
corrections/amendment etc. in the Book titled Schedule of DEPB rates:-
I Product Group:
Engineering Product Code: 61
i) The value cap of Rs.155/-
per kg enhanced vide Public Notice No. 67 dated 21.6.2004 against entries at
Sr.No. 353 and 354 is revoked with effect from 21.6.2004 and the old value cap
of Rs.135/- per kg is restored.
ii) The description of the
export item at Sr.No. 409 is amended to read as Slitting Cutters made of Steel
variety - X
iii) The DEPB rate of Sr.No.
413 is revised to 6% .
iv) The following new entries
