In exercise of powers conferred under
paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 as notified in the
Gazette of India extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub-section (ii) vide
S.O. No. 283(E) dated 31.3.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby
notify the following dispensation:-
2. Advance Licenses issued during 1992-97
Policy, shall be entitled for revalidation for a further period of six months,
even if a time period of 30 months has already expired, subject to the
following conditions :
(i)
This facility will be available where exports have already
been completed but the licenses could not be utilized on account of expiry of
these licenses.
(ii) Application for
revalidation may be submitted to the concerned Regional Licensing Authority
within a period of 30 days from the date of the issuance of this Public
Notice. License shall be revalidated
for a period of six months from the date of endorsement of revalidation.
(iii)
No revalidation shall be effected where endorsement of transferability
has already been endorsed. Similarly,
no revalidation will be allowed in licenses where misrepresentation / fraud has
come to the notice of any authority.
