NOTIFICATION No. 57/2021-CUSTOMS (ADD)
New Delhi, the 30thSeptember, 2021
G.S.R. (E). –Whereas, in the matter of import of “Flat rolled product of steel, plated or coated withalloy of Aluminium and Zinc”(hereinafter referred to as the ‘subject goods’), falling under headings7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)(hereinafter referred to as the Customs Tariff Act) originating in or exported from People’s Republic ofChina, Vietnam and Republic of Korea (hereinafter referred to as the ‘subject countries’) and importedinto India, the designated authority in its final findings vide notification No. 6/4/2019 DGTR, dated the21stFebruary, 2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, dated the 21stFebruary, 2020, had recommended imposition of definitive anti-dumping duty on the imports of subjectgoods, originating in or exported from subject countries;
And whereas, on the basis of aforesaid findings of the designated authority, the CentralGovernment had imposed definitive anti-dumping duty on thesubject goods vide notification of theGovernment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2020 Customs(ADD),dated the 23rdJune, 2020, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section(i) videnumber G.S.R. 397(E), dated the 23rdJune, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the saidnotification);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A ofthe Customs Tariff Act, read with rules 18 and 20 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment andCollection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, theCentral Government hereby makes the following amendments in the said notification, namely:-
In the said notification, in second proviso to paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and word “30thday of September, 2021.”,the figures, letters and word “31stday of January, 2022.” shall be substituted.
